This is a blacklight / UV 365nm flashlight. It appears blue and is able to capture more things than a regular purple blacklight like minerals. I personally think the glow from the 395nm (purple) is more pleasing to the eye. However, the thing about this blue one is it makes my UV marble photography much easier. It doesn't show the light whereas the purple washes out the photograph without special lenses.
